WHO WE ARE

Having begun as an Audio Engineer, I gained a firm understanding of operational practices and workflows. This grounding stood me in good stead when making the transition to Design Engineer.
I have been fortunate to be part of the broadcast industry at a time where there have been many advances in technology and standards. As a result, I have needed to adapt approaches on projects to fully utilise new technologies, whilst working with vendors to push their products further.
Specialising in intercom and audio design, I have worked on large scale intercom systems that use both baseband and IP technologies for connectivity. 
This includes recent work on one of the largest intercom systems in the world, which is highly integrated into the corresponding control systems. 
I have proven skills in planning and implementing large scale migrations, leading teams of engineers through the process, whist troubleshooting any issues that arise
Drawing on both my operational background and skills to innovate I have worked with control systems in both a product owner role and also working alongside clients to define requirements, delivering systems that are operationally practical. Most recently I have defined the UI and UX for National broadcasters. I have a clear belief that while effective systems are grounded in their engineering this should not detract from the user experience..
